First, Thanks to Microsoft introduced this feature. We have tried to introduce the New Enhanced RLS based on country with the Sales Report below.
Now, we will see how to implement RLS, by using RLS Editor.
Open the Sales Report in the Power BI Desktop App.
First, Click on Modeling option from the top ribbon, then select on Manage Roles option.
Click New and create a role name as Domestic.
Select Data Table under Select Tables option for Domestic role. Then, click on +Add icon under Filter Data menu.
Then select Country and in operator from drop down, Add Canada and Germany and click Save.
Click Close.
Now, Role has created as Domestic. Let's try to check RLS, Is it working as expect.
Click on View as Roles under Modeling Ribbon.
Choose Domestic and Click ok button.
We can see Canada and Germany Countries only as a view below: -
